Winston W. has always had a problem controlling his temper. Ever since he was a young kitten, he would get angry with everyone around him when things didn't go his way. Winston's parents ignored this, but it was hard for Winston's older brother to ignore it. He would beg his parents to give Winston a consequence for his temper tantrums, but Winston's parents did not want to get involved.
Dr. Woodchuck learned about Winston's tantrums after he was sent to his office one day for having one in the middle of class. When Dr. Woodchuck asked Winston what happened, Winston had another tantrum in the middle of Dr. Woodchuck's office. Winston was expecting Dr. Woodchuck to ignore the tantrum like his parents, but Dr. Woodchuck was very concerned about Winston and his level of anger. Dr. Woodchuck began working with Winston's parents and teacher, Mrs. Bookbinder, to try to understand Winston and the feelings he has underneath hisanger.
Winston likes to eat strawberryice cream and play video games for hours at a time.
